With a background in Chemical Engineering, my art originaly started with use of defined lines and dimensions. Feeling limited by these constraints, I moved to painting and pastels to expand my abilities to communicate feelings and emotions rather than objects.
A native of South Carolina, I continued to live there until now, but travel extensively. I attempt to bring aspects of various cultures, social aspects, and emotions into my paintings.
